The guys of are getting "Naked" on Thursday's episode of "Glee." And Jacob Artist, who plays Jake Puckerman on the FOx series, is the first to admit he wasn't thrilled about showing off his abs.

"Had that been my first scene when I started this show I probably would have been hyperventilating and panicking," he told TV Guide.

Luckily, Artist's fellow cast members have helped ease the pain of going shirtless on set.

"I think that we help each other out so much on those days where we have to be shirtless," he said. "Someone will be like, 'OK! Drop! [Do] 25 push-ups everybody!' and then everybody will get down and start doing it. Those were some funny days on set for sure."

Artist isn't the only one who had anxiety about Thursday's episode, which centers on the guys of New Directions stripping down to raise money with a "Men Of McKinley" calendar.

"I can't really look at it," said Darren Criss, who plays Blaine. "I think I look ridiculous ... Through the power of Photoshop, they can really kind of just draw some lines here ... maybe some pecs. [I] don't really have either of those."

"Glee" airs on Thursdays at 9 p.m. EST on Fox.
